Wednesday

Today we had a great day learning how to play football, cooked some sweets and also had a drama class.  Tomorrow we will go away for a couple of days so we will try to put up many photos when we come back to school.

今日は、『フットボール』『調理実習』『演劇』の授業を受けました。

明日から、グランピアンズへ一泊二日の旅へ出ます。報告はまた、帰ってきてからとなります。

生徒一同楽しんで来ます。

Sovereign Hill

Today we went to Sovereign Hill to see how life was during the Gold Rush years.  We saw gold being poured, visited a mine, panned for gold, tried on old clothing from the period,learned to write with ink nibbs and even went bowling.  It was a little cold but everyone had a great day.


今日は、バスに乗って Sovereign Hillへ行き、ゴールドラッシュ時代の生活を体験してきました。
施設では、ゴールドバー作りの実演を見学したり、すべてが木製で出来ている昔のボーリングを体験しました。また、時代の学習講座では、５名が昔の時代の衣装を試着させてもらいみんな喜んでいました。さらにペンにインクをつけての古代文字体験など今日は盛りだくさんの一日でした。現地はとても寒かったですが、生徒たちはみんな元気に過ごしていました。

初めてのラザホール登校

We had a good flight from Osaka and arrived in Melbourne Saturday.  Everyone spent a fun weekend with the host families.  Today we arrived at school, introduced ourselves at the morning assembly and then started classes. Tomorrow, we will visit Sovereign Hill.

大阪を出発して、香港で乗り換え無事に全員でオーストラリアのメルボルンに到着しました。空港でのホストファミリーと初の対面にみんな緊張していましたが、暖かい歓迎を受けて安心した様子でした。週末はホストファミリーと動物園や買い物、映画など楽しい時間を過ごしたようです。月曜日からはラザホール校へ初登校し、講堂にて全生徒の前で一人ずつ英語のスピーチをしました。その後は、教室で中学３年生との英会話の授業やランチを楽しんでいます。明日は、遠足でオーストラリアの歴史を勉強しに行きます。
